Sometimes there are life circumstances that lead to a dog becoming abandoned. For example, an elderly dog owner might need to get hospitalized due to an illness. In cases like that, the owner has no choice but to leave their dog.
Such a tragic fate befell the dog named Chadol. His owner fell down on the floor one day and had to be rushed to the hospital. It’s been over a year, and his owner has not returned.
The person currently taking care of Chadol is his owner’s neighbor. The same person who helped the old man during the emergency. This woman has been making sure that Chadol doesn’t starve.
One day Chadol’s caretaker made a request to the hospital where his owner was. It was about time that the dog got to see him. However, what happened during the visit was bittersweet.
Chadol finally got a chance to see his owner. The old man, who was in a wheelchair, became emotional. He held the dog for a while; during this, Chadol snuggled close to him just like he used to. However, this moment did not last long.
According to the nurses, the old man had vascular dementia. This means that he could no longer live on his own, so a reunion is no longer possible. As a result, the owner told the caretaker to find another home for Chadol.
The caretaker packed Chadol’s belonging and prepared him for his journey to a new home. The woman was emotional as she had grown attached to the dog. However, she knew letting Chadol move on was the right thing to do. It was what his owner wanted.
Chadol was transferred to a family who lives in the mountains. His new foster family believes that being surrounded by nature will do good for Chadol’s well-being. They vowed to take care of him until his adoption day.
