The countryside is a good place to live in for people who want a peaceful environment. However, moving from the city to the countryside requires a lot of adjustments. For example, dog owners from the city need to help their dogs get acclimated to a new life. The following story is a good example of such a transition.
An Alaskan Malamute like Conan isn’t a dog you’d often see in rural areas of South Korea. That’s why when his owner Woojin brought him to the countryside, he had to get accustomed to a new daily routine. Fortunately, it wasn’t that hard for him to get used to a new environment.
Conan has gained the adoration of a lot of the villagers where he lived. They had never seen a Malamute before, so they were fascinated by him. The positive attention Conan got helped him immensely to feel comfortable in his new home.
Every morning, Woojin would take Conan out for a jog. This is the dog’s favorite part of the day. Woojin would often try to catch his breath because he couldn’t keep up with his dog’s pace.
After the morning jog, Woojin and Conan would go to a nearby farm field to begin work. Aside from working in the fields, Woojin is also a licensed dogsitter. He does a lot of jobs so he can pay for his studies and support himself and his dog.
Conan would often try to help out during fieldwork. However, he ends up playing and running around instead. Still, he provides a lot of moral support for his owner.
After a hard day’s work, Woojin and Conan retreat back to their home. Woojin gives Conan a bath and proceeds to study afterward. Conan ends his day feeling satisfied and excited for the next day to come.
