Homeowners in the Magnolia area in Houston are used to seeing deer and other wildlife in the area. What they were really not expecting to see was a Coyote wander into their neighborhood where pets are allowed to play outside the house. But what’s more menacing than a Coyote? A pack of Coyotes, and that was just what the two dogs in this featured video faced one fateful night in Magnolia.
Tasa and Bella are neighbors. Tasa, a Border Collie, and Bella, a Dogo Argentino, immediately hit it off the moment they met each other. Every opportunity they get, both dogs always find time to play with each other. They have bonded and have become more than just best buddies — they have become family, a part of each other’s pack.
Being part of each other’s family, they now look out for each other, and that was tested one day when Tasa was attacked by a pack of Coyotes. According to Michael Cobs, Bella’s owner, the 160-pound canine was whining and was clawing at the window. He thought that deer have stumbled into their yard, and so he let Bella out to chase them away. That was when he realized they were dealing with Coyotes.
Bella tried chasing off the Coyotes, but the pack was determined to eat that night. And so, with the help of Michael, they scared off the Coyotes into the darkness. Little did Michael know, Bella went straight out to save her best friend, Tasa. Tasa had been attacked by the pack of Coyotes. Surveillance cameras show that Tasa ran for dear life after being bitten on her thigh by the wild dogs.
It was a little after they chased off the Coyotes that Michael saw Tasa limping into view. Had Bella not begged to be let out that night, it could have ended badly for Tasa. Thankfully, her best friend always has her back.
